Ok, here's the deal. I have 2 tickets to Saturday night's show at the Metro but was told today that on Thursday I have to have major surgery on my nose (septoplasty, remove cartilage from one spot to the next, cutting the skin around my entire nose and exposing the bare tissue, carving up my beautiful (according to my mom) face etc...).
I included the gory details for medical nerds (in a good way) like Candice, the person, versus Candice's Breasts.
Anywho and whatnot, I won't make the show. This is a common theme. I had tickets and missed Propagandhi/Avail/J Church because of kidney stones (9mm for those who have had them before). I had tickets and missed 88 Fingers Louie and The Bollweevils because of having my uvula lasered off and my tonsils removed. Apparently I have awesome health for a 33 year old.
Yeah, I'm rambling, but, back to the point. I have 2 tickets and had purchased them through etix.com. Anybody looking for 2 tickets? I'm not looking to jack someone up with a price, so you pay what I paid. I'm not looking to make money on this, I just don't want them to go to waste.
Question: I believe the etix are transferable. Can anyone confirm this?
Question 2: If I do a good deed and bequeath them to one of my fellow Dogs of War for free, perhaps Brendan would be cool enough to send me a colored vinyl of the new 7" autographed by the band? I mean, of course I would have been one of the first 100, if I were going. :)
Any feedback and/or interest in the tickets, please let me know ASAP so we can work something out.
